When I was a kid, field day felt like the Olympics.

It’s a chance to show yourself and others what you’re made of and a great way to measure your growth at the end of each year.

The efforts that I have seen from the schools with my own kids is unacceptable.

Overgrown fields, disorganized events and old, broken, neglected equipment.
Not enough parents participate or even show up for their children.

I think Field day is extremely important to help promote and develop healthy and positive core traits.
They need to know what they are good at and what they can improve.
Our teachers recorded our stats better.

An automatic respect is established between friends and everyone you compete with.
Confidence is built and fears are dismissed after a couple hours of competition.

If we can improve one thing about schools in America, it should be Field day.
Give them something cool to look forward to.
Seeing out of shape boys, crying and frustrated because it’s no fun isn’t working.
If you’re a parent, take the day off for this. They need your help.
Your kids will remember.
Try to remember being a kid again.
"Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven".
