During the 15 days to flatten the curve.
I learned how to solve a rubiks cube, memorizing the daisy method.
Before and after that, life has been a very difficult puzzle for me to solve.
You might learn what to do and definately what not to do in some situations that I will share with you.
When I got out of prison. I was taken advantage of by everyone that I worked for.
I basically had to learn how to paint houses and set tile and other jobs to survive over the years.
Anyways, after my 14 year family man relationship ended. My life was upside down and I wanted to try something new.
So I became a UPS driver. Travled across the state to be trained and passed their insane drivers test.
Hands down, it was the most frustrating job that I ever had. I should of seen the red flags sooner.
While being trained in Denver, I noticed disgruntled employees at their main facility taking their smoke breaks.
I could relate to their stress for their efforts. Under paid and treated like inmates on a chain gang.
After I completed their training. I noticed drivers playing football and doing push-ups before work in the parking lot.
That raised my eyebrows, seeing men wearing shorts above the knee in December trying to over posture their health.
Different dudes, after talking to some of the drivers it became clear. Ex cops, military, pilots and spandex bicycle riders.
Then I remembered the main guy training us say” we know who we are hiring, we’ve been doing this for a long time”
Water and oil souled differences between us, even though we looked the same. Well groomed white guys and friendly nomads.
I wasn’t impressed with the unprepaired, ex Navy combat engineer that most likely blamed me for his mistakes.
Oh yeah, check this out. I think it was around lunch time and we were passing some teenagers standing off the side of the road.
He pulls the truck over, gets out and starts hounding these kids. He assumed they were smoking marijuana.
The kids said they were from Texas on vacation just exploring the area and then they said, “you’re just a UPS driver, wtf?”
He got back in and tried to rant about dope heads. That afternoon, around 4:30pm, he pulled us over for our lunch break.
He said we are on pace for breaking the record on this route. I said cool, ready to go. Lets do it.
Naw, he wanted to chill and watch denver bronco football highlights from the late 80’s and 90’s.
Keep in mind , it’s cold as hell sitting in those trucks in the winter. Refrigerators on wheels.
After he milked every second of our break we continued on into the dark. This is where it gets hoakey.
His DIAD(Delivery Information Acquisition Device) scanner was losing power and he told me to trade him so we can finish the last stops.
It slipped my mind that this dude was training me to take over his route (competition) drivers cutt throat eachother for routes.
He said he would drop me off at the begining of the super long drive way to drop off the next parcel while he drops off the last package for us to go home.
After waiting severel minutes in the freezing dark, I started walking towards his direction with my headlamp on.
Another long driveway, christmas lights with the sound of spinning tires on ice was the scene.
I instantly thought about a conversation earlier in the day about another driver teaching me a fast trick to chain up the tires in the snow.
He replied that he doesn’t use chains and just burns through the snow and ice..
So here he is, smoking the tires in front of these peoples house, tryng to get unstuck at like 9:30 at night.
He didn’t have gloves, a headlamp or any common sense.
When we got back, I just wanted to get the hell out of there. But looking back, he got called into the office before leaving that night.
I assume the people called about him spinning the tires in their driveway. I didn’t think about him having my DIAD on GPS.
After that night, I was treated like I wasn’t part of the team.
I was warned during training that I would never see my kids. This was true, I wasn’t getting home until 11:00pm+.
Thankfully I was offered a new job that paid the same per hour and seemed promising..so I thought.
A new company in the area needed drivers to take people to their medical appointments. I thought that sounded great.
My clothes would stay clean compared to doing construction or smelling like carboard box’s from working for UPS.
I would be home at night for my kids and still have energy from not being physcally labored down to my bones.
So, the owner hires me. He can’t drive because he got a DUI. Needs a dude to take over his main clients.
Within the first day or two, he had me drive him to the liquor store a couple times before returning him home.
While driving him home. I told him a little bit about my life and situtaion. He looked me dead in the eye and said.
“If you work for me for 6 months, this Tahoe is yours”
That was the coolest insentive that I herd since a tile setter once told me
“If you do this for me, I’ll hook you up with bonus tools”
Readers that have been through the ringer already know where this is going.
So, I hero’d. Johnny on the spot, always on time, best damn driver around.
Clients requested me over others, I was the dude. Washed the car and filled up the gas tank to end each day.
Then, one morning I had to pick up a client at 4:30/5:00am to get him to his appointment in Denver.
When I got in the new car I had been using, there was food crumbs all over the place. Empty beer cans, a quarter tank of gas and it smelled like ass.
Sorry for the odd smell Sir, It’s not me! I think someone took the car for a joy ride last night without the boss knowing..
“We’ll have to stop and gas her up to get us there, need a cup of coffee?”
Truth was, his wife allowed him to meet craigslist hookers and use dating apps at night (There was a moment in the garage one day)
After taking the client to Denver and back. My boss was mad at me for having two hours over time. Traffic/weather is not my fault.
Going over Vail pass in the winter during a blizzard isn’t a fast turn and burn job to complete, especially with the hosiptal parking and Denver traffic.
My 6 month pay off for the Tahoe was due when covid started. His clients were provided by the State, so I understood that they had to lay people off to not risk spreading the plague.
I assumed we would be back to work soon. Nope, they basically let me go and he didn’t honor his word about the Tahoe.
No bonus tools..they got me again.
Then I found out, he actually won the $1000 a day Lucky for Life. That’s why he said he makes $25k or more a month when I started working for him.
Do you feel the awesomeness now? Let’s continue, it gets worse…and it was actually worse before all of that.
Until the next November. I had to do some difficult paint, stain and tile jobs. Then I got hired to work for a HVAC company.
I got forklift certified to help work in their warehouse. A freindly, BBQ face smiling enviroment. Organization/inventory skilled workers.
My female boss informed me she was vaccinated one day while talking about covid. We worked together closely everyday for a couple months. I thought we got along great.
Then the city enforced a mask mandate for all businesses. They immedietly got scared and sent us home for Christmas break.
When we returned, everyone was wearing a mask. Looking all shifty eyed at me when I walked through the door.
The ex-oil field , Mr. big man with a beard that I worked with was even masked up. I didn’t think he would get punked too.
I proceeded to do my job as normal when my boss approached me.
She asked me if I was going to wear a mask. I said no, you’re vaccinated aren’t you?
Then she said she had to go talk with her boss. (another democrat woman)
When she came back, she tried to corner me with if you don’t wear a mask, you can’t work here anymore.
I said I don’t work with retards and walked out.
At the same time. My landlord from the apartment I was renting wanted me out within 3 weeks after telling me he can sell it for $300k.
No job and no home was my situation, again.. It’s harder than you might think to land a new job in Febuary in Colorado as a white christian if revealed on your application.
I’ve been rejected from everywhere only to see the worst employees get hired after.
So I took out a covid loan for the next 30 years for my busniess to try to land work again and to keep us from going homeless.
I appreciate the fact that our goverment bailed out established corporations for millions over the little guys like me that had to depend on an SBA loan for thousands to not perish and forced us into lifetime debt.
I wasn’t in debt before irrational choices violated my rights to make money. Did they get away with it, of course.
Not one person from my Dad’s side of the family has contacted me since covid began and my Mom’s side is just my Mom in my corner.
Thankfully she knew some people trying to sell their place at the time and I ended up getting my first official home for me and my kids.
I really don’t want it anymore. I basiclly bought a prison cell. I can’t afford or look forward to a damn thing.
Surviving the devils attempts to destroy me has taken a lot of faith to proceed monthly, praying for miracles to pay my bills is wearing me out.
I have to give credit to Jesus for putting people on my path to help me out with opprotunites to continue.
Before I was saved, money and friends were easily obtained. Since I was saved in jail, money and friends are hard to find.
Working for imaginary bonus tools hasn’t paid off for me. Don’t trust people to do the right thing like I did.
That was my biggest criminal critical thinking erorr that they taught me about myself in prison.
I have to high of expectations of others. People are not always like me.
Brave, honest and crazy as shit from a lifetime of adversities.
My aim remains on the same targets.
Helping your locked up friends and faimly change their prison mentalities to survive and contribute after parole.
An online gaming community for goal driven people, the underdogs, lone wolves, dissmissed, neglected, abused, over looked, betrayed and forgotten. Or if you just kick ass and win, that’s cool too.
They should of let me work a normal job and kept me ignorant and comfortable.
Instead, I have had plenty of extra time to take another look at just about everything we have been taught.
Discovering new/hidden information about our history and who the good guys and bad really are has forced my character to emerge to challenge and confront the npcs, agents, henchmen and final boss’s that I see preventing us from our pursuits of happiness.
I’ve been building this website for you to meet people like me.
Game changers.
This is where I am at , this is who I am.
