-MRP- is an independent, gamer-owned community. This page says what information we handle, why, and what you can do about it. We do not sell your personal information.

1. Who runs this

Maximum Ranked Players is operated by Convict-MRP-.

2. What this site is

You can browse a lot of the site without an account. If you register, you can use profiles, posts, comments, guestbook, public chat, private messages, Health Hub / streaks, arcade, stream embeds, and related features.

The site is not directed at children under 13. Do not create an account if you are under 13.

3. Information we collect

You give us

• Account: username, email, password (stored hashed), and profile fields you fill in (bio, links, stream names, photos/clips you upload).
• Content: posts, comments, guestbook entries, chat and private messages, images, embeds, likes/reposts, mute/block lists, notification preferences.
• Health Hub: workouts or challenges you choose to log, streaks, leaderboard display name.
• Optional gift setup: payment handles or links you put on your profile (PayPal, Cash App, Venmo, crypto addresses, etc.). We do not process those payments and do not receive the money.
• Messages you send us (support, reports).

Collected automatically

• IP address, browser/device type, pages viewed, timestamps, referral URL.
• Cookies and similar storage needed to stay logged in, remember theme/settings, security (nonces, login sessions), and basic site function.
• Server and error logs used to keep the site up and debug problems.

From other services when you use a feature

• Twitch, YouTube, Rumble (or similar) if you embed a channel or we load their player/chat.
• Payment apps only if a visitor clicks your Gift links — that happens on their site, not ours.
• Xbox player search: if someone looks up a public Xbox gamertag, we fetch publicly available clips/screenshots associated with that tag. That is third-party public profile data, not a Microsoft account login on MRP.
• Google advertising. Ads on this site are provided and controlled by Google. Google may use cookies or similar tech to show ads, measure them, and limit how often you see them. That collection and use is under Google’s policies and how Google uses information from sites that use their services. We do not control Google’s ad systems.

We do not require government ID. We do not ask for Social Security numbers.

4. Why we use it

• Run accounts, profiles, feed, comments, chat, DMs, arcade, Health Hub, and guestbook.
• Show “online” / activity where the feature exists.
• Email you when you turn on notifications (DMs, etc.).
• Security: abuse, spam, break-ins, illegal content we are required to act on.
• Remember theme, mute/block, and similar preferences.
• Improve the site from logs and obvious breakage.
• Display ads through Google (see above).

We do not use your content to train public AI models.
We do not sell your personal information.

5. When we share it

We share personal information only if:

• You make it public yourself (profile, posts, comments, public chat, leaderboards).
• A vendor must see it to run the feature (web host, email delivery, CDN, embed providers, Google for ads). They get what they need to do that job.
• You click Gift and leave MRP for PayPal/Cash App/etc.
• Law requires it (valid legal process), or we must report illegal child sexual abuse material or similar crimes.
• The site is transferred as a whole (unlikely; this place has one owner).

Private messages are not shown on public profiles. Operators may access stored messages if needed for security, illegal-content reports, or a serious abuse investigation.

6. Cookies

Typical cookies / local storage:

• Login and session (so you stay signed in).
• Security tokens.
• Theme / particles / UI preferences.
• Mute, block, and notification settings in the browser where those live client-side.
• Google advertising and measurement cookies, set and controlled by Google when ads load.

Embedded players (YouTube, Twitch, Rumble) set their own cookies when those players load. That is their privacy policy, not ours.

You can use browser settings and Google’s ad settings to limit personalized ads.

7. How long we keep it

• Account and public profile/content: until you delete it or the account is closed.
• Private messages and logs: as long as needed to operate the site and handle abuse/security, then discarded on a reasonable schedule.
• Server logs: typically a limited window unless we need a record for a security or legal issue.
• Backup copies may lag behind a deletion for a short time.

8. Your choices

• Edit or delete your own posts, comments, and profile fields where the site allows it.
• Mute or block other users.
• Turn email notifications off.
• Close / delete an account: there is no self-serve delete button yet. Email admin@mrpgamers.com from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. We will delete or de-identify personal account data that is not legally required to keep (for example a narrow record of a ban for CSAM or fraud). A self-serve delete option is planned.
• Public quotes, guestbook lines, or leaderboard history may remain in anonymized or residual form if they were public.

California / similar state laws: you can ask what we have, ask us to delete it, and we do not sell personal information. EU/UK visitors have access, correction, deletion, and complaint-to-a-regulator rights. Same email: admin@mrpgamers.com.

9. Children

-MRP- is a general gaming community. It is not a kids’ app.

• No accounts for anyone under 13.
• We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we did, we will delete it.
• Illegal sexual content involving minors is removed and reported. That is a crime issue, not a speech issue.

10. Security

WordPress, hashed passwords, nonces, HTTPS, and error logging are used to reduce risk. No site is unhackable. Do not reuse a unique password you care about everywhere else.

11. Other sites

Links, embeds, Xbox public data, gift buttons, radio/stream players, and Google ads leave our control. Their rules apply once you are there.

12. Changes

If this policy changes in a real way, we will update the date at the top. Continued use after that means you have seen the new version.
