These Terms are the rules for using -MRP-. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

How we handle personal data is in the Privacy Policy. That page is about data. This page is about use of the site, speech, and liability.

1. Who runs this

Maximum Ranked Players is an independent, gamer-owned community operated by Convict-MRP- since 2002.

2. Age

You must be at least 13 to create an account. The site is not directed at children under 13. If you are 13–17, you should have a parent or guardian’s permission to use it.

3. Speech, art, and symbols

-MRP- is not a corporate platform. We do not run a viewpoint-policing system. We do not ban people for thinking differently, for politics, religion, games they play, art they post, symbols, flags, memes, music, or opinions other people dislike.

You are responsible for your own words and uploads. Other members may mute or block you. That is their filter, not a sitewide speech code.

The only content we remove or restrict is the narrow list in section 4. Offense is not on that list.

4. What is not allowed

Do not use the site to:

• Post or share sexual content involving minors, or any child sexual abuse material. That is a crime. It will be removed and reported.
• Make real, specific threats of violence against an identifiable person.
• Doxx a private individual (publish home address, private phone, or similar private data to harm them).
• Hack, phish, spread malware, or run industrial spam.
• Impersonate someone else in a way meant to defraud.
• Violate someone else’s copyright after we receive a valid takedown notice we are legally required to honor.
• Use the site for other clearly illegal activity.

Mute, block, and “don’t read it” are the tools for content you simply hate. Site action is for the list above, security, and keeping the servers up.

5. Accounts

• You are responsible for your password and what happens on your account.
• One person, one account unless we say otherwise.
• We can close an account that breaks section 4, is abandoned spam, or is used to attack the site.
• To delete an account, email admin@mrpgamers.com from the address on the account. A self-serve delete button is planned.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of posts, comments, images, clips, profile text, and other content you upload. You give -MRP- a license to host, display, and transmit that content on the site so the community features work.

Do not upload what you do not have the right to post. Public posts, comments, guestbook lines, chat in public rooms, and leaderboards are visible to others.

Private messages stay off public profiles. Operators may look at stored messages if needed for security, a section 4 report, or a serious abuse investigation — not to police opinions.

7. Features you use at your own risk

• Chat, DMs, comments, guestbook, feed — other people can be rude. Use mute/block.
• Arcade and mini-games — for fun. No prize contract unless we clearly say so.
• Health Hub / streaks — optional workout logging. Not medical advice. Talk to a doctor before you punish your knees.
• Stream embeds — Twitch, YouTube, Rumble and similar are their platforms and their rules.
• Xbox player search — looks up public clips and screenshots tied to a gamertag. Not a Microsoft login. Public data can change or break.
• Radio / third-party players — not owned by MRP.
• Gifts — optional tips through PayPal, Cash App, Venmo, crypto, etc. Money goes member-to-member. We do not process it and we do not take a cut. Chargebacks and scams on those apps are between you and that app.

8. Our content and the name

The -MRP- name, site design, custom code, and original writing we publish are ours. Do not copy the site wholesale or pretend you operate Maximum Ranked Players.

9. Ads and other sites

Google controls the ads. Clicking an ad, gift button, embed, or outbound link leaves our page. Their terms apply there.

10. The site is provided as-is

-MRP- is a long-running independent hobby community, not a big company with an SLA. Features can break, change, or go offline. We do not promise uptime, that a clip search will always work, or that every member will be decent.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Convict-MRP- and Maximum Ranked Players are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, lost data, lost tips, or fights between members. If a court says we owe you anything, it is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim — which is usually zero, because the site is free.

Some places do not allow these limits. In those places, the limit is the minimum the law requires.

11. Changes and ending use

We can update these Terms. The date at the top will change. Keeping the site after that means you accept the new version.

You can stop using the site anytime. We can suspend or end access for section 4 violations, security, or if we shut the lights off after two decades of paying the bill.

12. Law

If a dispute has to go to court, it will be handled under the laws of the United States and the state where the operator resides, without the conflict-of-law rules that would point somewhere else — unless a law that cannot be waived says otherwise.
